A graduate assistantship is available in the computational condensed matter physics and materials science group led by Dr. Julia E. Medvedeva https://web.mst.edu/~juliaem/publications.html at the Physics Department of Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Applicants with strong interest and experience in simulations, modeling, and density-functional calculations will be given first preference. Candidates should have a B.S. in physics, pass the department admission requirements (http://physics.mst.edu/academicprograms/graduatedegreeprograms/), and have excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English.
