there is a recent PhD opening (chemistry/physics) in the young investigator theory group of Freigeist fellow Dr. Annika Bande at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin with application deadline May 29. The tentative topic is "Theory of Excitation Loss in Self-Assembled Quantum Dot Qubits" and comprises the tasks of
(i) running and analyzing electron dynamics calculations using MCTDH and rho-TDCI in cooperation with theoreticians from Germany, France, and Cuba and

(ii) developing of a quantum dot model in close cooperation with an experimental working group
