The focus of the project is the investigation of new strategies for the solution of electronic structure problems using quantum algorithms for near-term quantum computing.

The position requires a degree (Master) in computation/theoretical chemistry/physics or quantum information theory. The candidate needs to have a good knowledge in the fundamentals of quantum mechanics and good expertise in coding (Python and C++). Competences in quantum chemistry (post-HF methods and/or quantum Monte Carlo) are also required.

The position will open immediately for an initial duration of three years.
