Applications are invited for Indian nationals having CSIR or UGC NET-JRF qualified, in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Pilani Campus, under the supervision of Dr. Mohit Garg.

The area of Research will be "Computational modeling of materials for electronic or bioelectronic devices"

Responsibilities

• Running Quantum Mechanical Calculations (DFT)
• Running Molecular Dynamics and Monte Carlo Simulations.
• Last stage of the PhD, running Machine Learning algorithms for understanding the properties of a general class of materials.
• Writing papers and presenting at the conference.
• Validation of theoretical results in collaboration with experiments.
• Opportunity to do internships abroad during the tenure of Ph.D.

Qualifications

Any JRF-qualified candidate (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) with a fellowship.
