Prof. Nuria López offers a PhD Fellowship in the framework of a Mobility Programme with the "Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics of Polish Academy of Sciences"

Project Title: Theoretical simulations for materials in energy applications

The aim is to support excellent students to enroll in a training and research programme in the area of Chemistry ultimately leading to the completion of a Doctoral Thesis (max. 42 months)

Key aspects of the programme are international perspective and mobility. Therefore, the fellowship programme offers international mobility research stays from six to twelve months at the The Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics of Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN) (group Prof. dr. Zbigniew Łodziana).

The programme is addressed to highly qualified and talented postgraduate students with an enthusiastic interest in research. The successful candidate should have a completed Master in Physics (Condensed Matter) or Materials Science, good computing and programming skills, some experience in DFT and in using high-performance supercomputing facilities, and good English (EU B2 level, Cambridge FCE, IELTS 5, TOEFL 61 (internet based), 173 (computer based), 500 (paper based))
