A PhD position is available in the area "Classical and quantum transport of charge and heat carriers in nanoelectronic devices" at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB - Dept of Electrical Engineering).

We are seeking a BSc + MSc holder in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Materials Science or Chemistry (or related disciplines) with a strong background in Quantum Mechanics and an interest in computer simulations. The candidate should have completed 300 ECTS or be eligible to enter a PhD program in their country next September.

The position is for three years and it is funded by the Dept of Electrical Engineering at UAB, under the supervision of Prof. Xavier Cartoixà.
