Dear colleagues,
we announce a PhD position at the Institute of Physics, University of Rostock, Germany. The topic of the project which is funded by the DFG is the calculation of the dynamic ion-ion structure factor in warm dense matter (Al, Fe, ...) using DFT-MD simulations. The partner group at European XFEL in Schenefeld (PD Dr. Ulf Zastrau) aims at performing corresponding high-resolution inelastic x-ray scattering experiments within the joint project, for details see
