A PhD position is now open at the Martin-Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg in the group of Prof. Miguel Marques. The position is in the general field of Materials Design, and involves finding new materials for specific technological applications using both density functional theory and machine learning techniques. Applicants should possess a master degree in either Physics or Chemistry, and an interest in both theory and numerics. We also expect a reasonable knowledge of English and of programming.
