A PhD position is open at IFP Energies nouvelles in Solaize, close to Lyon, France, starting from November 2024, in the field of atomic-scale simulations of catalytic reactions. Applications from graduate students (or students who will graduate in summer 2024) interested in DFT calculations and heterogeneous catalysis are welcome. The project, entitled "Contribution of Machine Learning in atomic-scale simulations of the dehydration of butanols catalyzed by acidic zeolites" will be performed in collaboration with Université de Lorraine and Comenius University in Bratislava, and is funded for 3 years.
