PhD Job assignmentThe PhD student will work at the development of a theoretical platform for analyzing and predicting magnetic structure factors as revealed by neutron scattering dynamics, using many-body Green’s function techniques. Both first-principles and model approaches will be considered, and also directly in the time domain to describe neutron scattering in systems out of equilibrium. The project will involve both theoretical developments as well as computational simulations for realistic materials and magnetic structures. Collaborations with experimentalists in Lund in the areas of magnetism and neutron scattering are anticipated.
