The Sharada Lab in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Southern California is looking for computationally inclined graduate students. We are interested in the development of quantum chemistry and machine learning methods to approach intriguing problems in catalysis and materials science. Projects include direct conversion of methane to methanol, catalysis for fuel cell applications, metal-support interactions, and novel battery materials.
