The Materials Theory Unit at Linköping University in Sweden is looking for a PhD student in a project involving computational screening of two-dimensional materials suitable for the catalysis of C-H activation reactions using carbon dioxide as mild oxidant. The goal is finding materials suitable to generate light olefins at the same time as transforming carbon dioxide into valuable chemicals.

You will primarily work with large-scale electronic structure theory computations in combination with methods for studying chemical reactions.
