Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH (Research Center Jülich) is one of the largest, interdisciplinary research centers in Europe. With its powerful supercomputing resources and attractive geographic location in proximity to many German and European urban centers it gives attractive opportunity for cutting edge and enjoyable PhD research. This is the location place of the incoming first European Exascale supercomputer (JUPITER).
HITEC Graduate Program released a competitive call for attractive PhD fellowships. One of the projects is related to combination of the atomistic simulations and experimental work and is coordinated/supported by IEK-9 Institute for Fundamental Electrochemistry and IEK-13 Institute for Theory and Computation of Energy Materials. The project on development of advanced poly- and single-crystalline Na-ionic conductors with perovskite structure-type is situated in an attractive research field on Materials for Energy Transitions.
Joint experimental & computational project:
Research Project #3: Development of advanced poly- and single-crystalline Na-ionic conductors with perovskite structure-type, https://www.hitec-graduate-school.de/rp3-2023-2024
