We are looking for a doctoral (75% of the TVoD E13 salary scale) and a postdoctoral (100% TVoD E13, 1+2 years) researcher joining our team ideally starting from summer/autumn 2023.

The successful candidates will contribute to our ongoing activity on the understanding of strongly correlated transition-metal oxides. The research activity will involve working with many-body techniques such as dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT) and its cluster extensions, various flavors of quantum Montecarlo (QMC), and/or ab-initio methods. 

Desired qualifications:

The PhD candidate should have an excellent master in physics or a related subject and be interested/experienced in high-performance computing.

For the postdoctoral researcher additional requirements are a PhD with a strong background in many-body physics and/or density-functional theory.
