We are inviting applications for 1 PhD and 1 post-doc positions. The positions are to work with Jorge Íñiguez, at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology.
The research will be on complex nano-structured functional oxides, which will be investigated with a variety of first- and second-principles simulation methods. You can learn more about our research and recent publications here.
The PhD position is for 3+1 years. The post-doc position is for 2 years.
Starting date is flexible for both positions. For the PhD, work must start not later than September 2018.
Eligible candidates must have a strong background in physics or materials science. An excellent academic record (PhD position) and convincing evidence of individual research skills (post-doc position) are mandatory.
