Permanent CNRS researcher positions will be open in France in 2017 within Section 5 (condensed matter: organisation and dynamics, http://www.section05-cnrs.fr/article.php?id_article=3).
Young outstanding theoreticians interested in joining CNRS at the Institute of Mineralogy, Materials Physics and Cosmochemistry (IMPMC, http://www.impmc.upmc.fr) of Université Pierre et Marie Curie - Sorbonne in Paris, are encouraged to enter in contact as early as possible with the Institute to discuss their research plan and possible integration. The official application deadline is at the beginning of January 2017.

The Institute, counting about 100 permanent researchers, has a multidisciplinary character with world-renowned experimental and theoretical expertise ranging from condensed matter physics and Earth sciences to biophysics and prebiotic chemistry. The candidate is expected to develop an original research line integrating the existing groups devoted to the structural and electronic properties of condensed matter and its transformation mechanisms.
