I would like to bring to your attention the openings for postgraduate students, research assistants and postdoctoral associates in the computational energy research group in the School of Energy and Environment at the City University of Hong Kong. Successful candidates will conduct research in first-principles density-functional studies of Li-ion batteries or hydrogen-producing catalytic systems.

Candidates for postgraduate studentships or research assistant positions must have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field at the time of hire. Applicants for postgraduate studentships will go through the centralized admission process. Postdoctoral associate candidates must have a Ph.D degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field at the time of hire. Experience in density-functional calculations is important.
