Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing (PC2, Paderborn University, Germany) is looking for new staff members with experience in high-performance computing as scientific employees in the context of the HPC.NRW project (http://tinyurl.com/hpc-nrw).

Desired Profile:

  • diploma or master degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, some natural science, or a related field
  • good programming knowledge and experience, if possible in high-performance computing/clusters, performance optimization, or parallel programming
  • experience in teaching for small groups
  • good spoken and written English and German skills 

We offer:

  • full-time positions in a public service sector starting as soon as possible
  • positions are initially limited till March 31st 2022
  • prospect to change the limited-time positions to permanent positions
  • prospect to specialize to a position of a scientific advisor
