The PhD program in Physics, Astrophysics and Applied Physics at the University of Milano (Unimi) offers high-level research training in nearly all areas of Physics including Condensed matter, and Computational Material science. There are 14 scholarships available for a start 1 October 2022.

The PhD School at Unimi offers a variety of educational opportunities, including colloquia by world class speakers, student workshops, and training in communication skills. 

The scholarship provides full coverage of University fees, a net (annual) salary of 14,450 EUR and a travel grant of 3,000 EUR. Two Milano-allowance contributions of 2,000 EUR/yr will be granted to the two best-ranking students from outside the Milano area.
