The postdoctoral position will be under the supervision of Prof. Lydia Wong from Nanyang Technical University (Singapore) and Prof. Geoffroy Hautier from Dartmouth (USA). The position will be physically based in Singapore. The project combines theoretical and experimental high-throughput screening to discover new p-type transparent conducting materials for photovoltaics and electronics applications. The postdoctoral researcher will focus on modelling and theoretical materials screening.
Applicants must have a PhD degree in materials science, chemistry or physics (or equivalent). Previous experience in ab initio computing and density functional theory (DFT) is required. Experience in high-throughput computing and python coding is an advantage.
The starting date would be April 2021 and the project duration is 2 years.
