Postdoc opportunities:
Postdoctoral openings are available in the group of Assistant Professor QUEK Su Ying Centre for Advanced 2D Materials (CA2DM) at the National University of Singapore.
A good knowledge of first principles calculations and electronic structure theory is essential for the positions. Demonstration of ability to either develop methods or interpret and analyze data is also required.
Preference will be given to candidates who have background in one or more of the following: optical properties at the level of GW/BSE or TDDFT, magnetism, thermal properties, and machine learning.
A successful candidate will conduct research in a simulating environment within CA2DM in NUS. The project will be chosen out of several challenging project possibilities, according to the background and interests of the candidate as well as others in the group.
