Multiple Fully Funded PhD Positions in Theoretical Chemistry & Materials Science

Multiple fully funded PhD positions in Theoretical Chemistry & Materials Science is available in the Momeni Research Group at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Our research is of multidisciplinary nature and focuses on developing new methodologies and their applications to tackle different important chemical and materials problems. This will include implementation of these methodologies in our in-house open-source molecular dynamics software package DL_POLY Quantum. Preferred Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Basic knowledge of a programing language and/or large-scale molecular dynamics simulations is a plus

Important Note: To be considered for these positions, applicants are required to apply to the interdisciplinary PhD program at UMKC. The yearly deadlines for Fall and Spring are April 15 and October 15.
