M2 Internship in quantum mechanics simulations of innovative materials and related experiments, Laboratoire de Réactivité et Chimie des Solides, Amiens – France
The “Laboratoire de Réactivité et Chimie des Solides (Amiens, France)” at the University of Picardie Jules Verne (LRCS, UMR CNRS #7314, https://www.lrcs.u-picardie.fr/) is currently seeking candidates for a Master M2 internship (6 months, 550€/month). The topics will be related to the search of innovative organic/inorganic compounds of specific interest for applications in the field of energy and smart materials.
Training: Master in materials sciences, chemistry, physics or related field.
Skills: The candidate must have a good training in solid state chemistry and physical chemistry. Due to the multidisciplinary aspect of the project, the candidate must be motivated by working in several areas.
Candidates with prior research experience in one or more of the following areas: computational modelling, theoretical description of chemical concepts, theory and simulation of condensed matter, structural and electronic properties of materials, structure-property relationships, luminescence/ photovoltaics/spectroscopy/organic synthesis studies will be given preference. Candidates should submit a CV, transcript of diplomas, summary of marks, a letter of motivation and the names/contact e-mails of two referees to [email protected].
