The Department of Physics seeks to appoint a full-time Lecturer to enhance and complement our thriving activities in theoretical condensed matter physics. We are looking for candidates with an outstanding research profile in areas such as strongly correlated systems, low-dimensional materials, quantum transport, electronic properties of materials, or subjects related to quantum optics and quantum information.
You must have a strong track record to conduct original and innovative research, have a portfolio of high-quality research publications, and demonstrate excellent teaching abilities, including the potential to supervise postgraduate students.
You should have a record of, and potential for, attracting research funding from a range of sources, and are expected to be able to participate and take a leading role in group and institutional grant applications.
