Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research
Fellow (JRF)/ Project Associate-1 in a time bound research project for a temporary period purely on
contractual basis as per the following details:

Project Title: Biodegradable, Flexible and Printable Ambipolar Organic Field-Effect
Transistors Based on Cellulose and Naphthalenediimide Co-polymer
Funding Agency: SCIENCE & ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD (SERB)
Principal Investigator: Dr. Mohit Garg, Department of Chemical Engineering
Project Tenure: 2 Years with the possibility of extension to Ph.D.
Job Description: The Candidate will perform Computational modelling of conducting polymer to
characterize their morphology, charge transport and mechanical properties.
Self-motivated, keen to learn new simulation methods, and ability to solve problems
independently and with good proficiency in technical writing
Qualification: First-class Master's degree in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science or Bachelor's
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology or Biotechnology. Candidates
from other disciplines working in above area or interest in this area are also
eligible to apply.
Desirable: GATE/NET qualified.
Upper Age Limit Age not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is allowed
up to 5 year for SC/ST/PH/OBC/WOMEN candidates.
Fellowship: 31,000/- per month for NET/GATE qualified candidates.
25,000per month for non-NET/GATE qualified candidates.
Registration for PhD.: Selected candidates will be given the opportunity for a full time PhD program at BITS, Pilani as per the institute norms.
