Applications are invited for the position of JRF/PA for a DST-SERB project, Department of Chemistry, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur-603203, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Title of the Project: “Computational Exploration of Structure, Stability, and Catalytic Activity of Supported Ionic Liquid Phase Catalysts for CO₂RR (SILPC-CO₂RR)”

Essential Qualifications: Suitable candidates must hold a Master's Degree (M.Sc./MS/M.Tech) in Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology while securing minimum first-class marks or equivalent CGPA. Preference will be given to candidates having CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GATE and working experience relevant to the project.

Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to prior experience in programming and computational modeling studies on molecular clusters, surface, and interface materials. 

Age limit: 28 years

Fellowship: For the first two years Rs. 31,000 + HRA and for the third year Rs. 35,000 + HRA.

Number of Positions: One

Duration of the project: Three years

Registration for Ph.D.: The candidate selected for the position of JRF will have the option to register for the full-time Ph.D. program at SRMIST, Kattankulathur, Chennai-603 203.
