 There's an immediate opening to join my group as JRF for a DST project. 

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work on a project sponsored by DST-SERB, under the supervision of Sarbani Ghosh in the Department of Chemical Engineering, BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan in the field of Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations of conducting polymers.

The review of applications will start immediately. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with good knowledge in molecular dynamics simulations and programming language who is ready to start immediately.

Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech. (with at least 60% marks) in Chemical Engineering/Material Science/Computational Material Science or relevant area; M.Sc. Physics, Chemistry with 60% marks

Desirable Qualifications:

    • GATE or NET qualified
    • Experience in MD simulations using LAMMPS/GROMACS
    • Knowledge of programming language, e.g., MATLAB, python, C/C++
    • Experience with Bash scripting and Unix/Linux environment
    • Self-motivated, keen to learn new simulation methods, ability to solve problems independently
    • Good proficiency in technical writing

Fellowship Amount: Rs. 31,000 per month
