Introduction

C2CAT B.V. is a technical innovative start-up in the Netherlands active in the field of energy storage and sustainable processes. C2CAT combines practice with fundamentals via multiscale catalysis. We use computational techniques at the microscopic level and use them in our material developments on the macroscopic scale. 

Job description

C2CAT is currently looking for a “Digital Chemistry Intern” who can assist in developing a software platform for storing, exploring, and analyzing chemical data generated from quantum chemical calculations and experiments.

You will be engaged in the following activities:

• Development of an MVP for our digital platform
• Learn and deploy ML models for chemical data
• Utilize and further develop custom and open-source scripts for automated data extraction
• Build small web-apps for to engage customers
• Develop a database for storing chemical data
• Explore the integration of the platform with our commercial HPC cloud facility

Duration:

• Ideally, 6 months but 3 months is also possible for bachelor's thesis students. Start date as soon as possible.
• Details can be discussed and we are flexible.

Your profile

• Skills with programming (python/plotly/Dash/R-Shiny/SQL)
• Hunger to learn more
• Affinity with chemical engineering, chemistry, physics
• Passionate about using technology for clean energy and sustainability
• Bachelor’s or master’s thesis students preferred

Good to know
