Immediate PhD/postdoctoral positions are available in Computational and Applied Materials Science (CAMS) group, in Attosecond Strong Field Science, in ELI-ALPS, Hungary, in:

(i) Ultrafast electronic processes, charge/spin excitations, dynamics at surface, nanostructures,

(ii) Molecules, low-dimensional materials under intense laser field: control of laser-matter interaction.

(iii) Nonlinear response, excited states dynamics and high harmonic generations from molecules and nanostructures.

The position is immediately available. Application deadline: 5^th August, 2018. The successful candidate will use time-dependent density functional theory, and/or  coding through Fortran/ Python/ C++/Mathematica/ Matlab, for projects mentioned above in close collaboration with experimentalists. A solid academic foundation in solid state physics, optics and photonics related field is expected.
