We are inviting talent and enthusiastic applicants to join the Hong Kong Polytechnic University by applying for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 (approx. US$2,600) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (approx. US$1,300) per year for the entire normal study period. PolyU will further provide Tuition Scholarship waiving of tuition fees for the entire normal study period and associated money of HK$20,000 (approx. US$2,600) per normal study year to support research study. More than 230 fellowships will be awarded for PhD studies commencing in the 2018/19 academic year. Only exceptionally qualified student, with high GPA and research experience in chemistry, physics or engineering from top universities will be considered. Projects related to density functional theory and molecular dynamics simulation of materials for energy and electronics are welcome.
