Funded PhD in Quantum Chemistry for Quantum Comp ... (No replies)

Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD studentship (UK, EU and international applicants), available from October 2021 in the research group of Dr Alex Thom in the Yusuf-Hamied Department of Chemistry in the University of Cambridge, UK. The project, funded by Cambridge Quantum Computing Ltd., will involve the development and application of new Quantum Chemical Ansatzes to be use on Quantum Computers.  For further details please see here.

Applicants must have (or expect to obtain) at least the equivalent of a UK upper second-class Master's degree in chemistry. Experience of quantum computing, quantum chemistry and programming would be beneficial.

The studentship is available from October 2021 for 4 years and will provide a maintenance grant and tuition fees.
