Fully funded PhD position (DFT-MD simulations for designing high performance magnesium alloys) at School of advanced materials science & engineering-Sungkyunkwan university-South Korea 

Applications are invited for a 3 year PhD position (starting from Sept. 2020) in the field of computational materials science. 

The PhD subject will be concerned with applications of DFT-MD simulations for predicting the mechanical behavior of metallic materials.

 Requirements:

1.Min. master degree in materials science or any related program.

2.Background in MD, DFT, and mechanical properties of metals.

3.Candidate should have strong interest to learn MD-DFT-related tools (LAMMPS, quantum espresso, VASP).

4.Excellent English-language skills
