A Faraday Undergraduate Summer Experience (FUSE) 2023 paid internship in the summer is available at the University of Cambridge, jointly in the groups of Prof. Dame Clare P Grey and Prof. Andrew J Morris (University of Birmingham) hosted by Dr. Hrishit Banerjee (University of Cambridge).

This is a 2 month internship in the Summer anytime between July and September, funded by the Battery Degradation project of the Faraday Institution, which is UK's premier battery research foundation, for UK undergraduates to work in "Theoretical spectroscopy to investigate degradation in NMC cathodes".

The position is available to students registered in any STEM undergraduate programme in UK.

The project gives undergraduate students a chance to learn details of DFT, ab initio multiple scattering, and GW calculations and their application to the field of battery cathodes.
