A Distinguished Postdoctoral Associate position in Computational Materials Science is available at Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Leadership Computing Facility, Tennessee, USA. The Distinguished Postdoctoral Associate will collaborate in the development and application of new computational techniques specifically targeted at materials modeling using Quantum Monte Carlo and QMCPACK. 

Development experience with one or more prominent electronic structure or quantum chemical software packages is highly desirable. The ideal candidate would have a PhD in physics, chemistry or materials science and be familiar with C++ and have experience with or be interested in CUDA, OpenMP, and parallel programming.
