Senior Researcher for Computational Modelling of Surfactants

Bytelab Solutions is a recently established startup company. It offers consultancy and services related to Molecular Simulations and Materials Informatics in the field of Chemistry.

We are looking for a Senior Researcher with experience in the computational modelling of surfactants.

Requirements

• Experience in computational modelling and data science in the field of physical chemistry, surfactants, and gas hydrates.
• Experience in Molecular Dynamics and Machine Learning. Knowledge of Coarse Graining, Density Functional Theory, and Thermodynamic Modelling is a plus.
• Experience with the Gromacs simulation platform and knowledge of the common force fields. Experience with other Molecular Simulation codes is a plus. Additional knowledge of the most common tools for Machine Learning (e.g. TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) and Python is desired.
• MSc or PhD (preferred) in Chemistry, Physics or a related field.
• Ability to quickly learn about new topics; flexibility to change the work subject according to the current needs; good team player.
• Experience in working with industry, including the need of respecting tight deadlines.
• High level of English, both written and oral.
