Computational Catalysis Postdoc Opening (No replies)

There is an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research associate in the Molecular Science and Engineering Lab (http://railab.che.msstate.edu/) directed by Dr. Neeraj Rai. The successful candidate will model solution phase heterogeneous catalytic process for biomass conversion. The systems of interest are hierarchical zeolites and transition metal catalysts.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related discipline. Experience is required in periodic density functional calculation using codes such (CP2K, VASP, etc.). The successful applicant is also expected to have programming experience.  

The postdoctoral associate position is a full-time, benefits-eligible 12-month basis appointment. The initial appointment is for one year with a possibility of extension based on the performance and the availability of funding.
