The research group of Claudia Draxl at HU Berlin offers postdoc positions for code and method development in the all-electron full-potential package exciting (http://exciting-code.org). The project is within the framework of the NOMAD Center of Excellence (https://nomad-coe.eu), with the aim of bringing electronic-structure code to exascale performance. The work is dedicated to theoretical spectroscopy in terms of many-body perturbation theory (GW and Bethe-Salpeter equation) as well as coupled cluster theory.
Requested requirements and skills: The candidates should have deep knowledge in many-body perturbation theory; excellent programming skills (FORTRAN); proven experience in developing scientific software; motivation and ability to work independently as well as in teams.
