The Department of Chemistry at the University of Bath seeks to appoint a person with an established and internationally recognised research profile in computational chemistry to complement and enhance activity in this area of existing strength. There are currently four research groups, and over 25 researchers, active in the area of computational materials chemistry covering method development and applications (Saiful Islam, Ben Morgan, Steve Parker, Aron Walsh).
The university's high-performance computing service runs a 3000 core system Balena, and access is also available to the national UK supercomputer Archer with over 100,000 cores.
