The Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ) of the Simons Foundation's Flatiron Institute invites applications for one or more Associate Research Scientist positions. In exceptional circumstances appointment at the Research Scientist level may be considered. Particular consideration will be given to applicants with a strong background and research agenda in: Computational approaches to strong electronic correlations in quantum materials, or: Machine learning approaches to quantum many body theory.

Associate Research Scientists at CCQ are typically appointed for an initial 3 years period, with a possible extension for an additional 3 years. Promotion to a non term-limited Research Scientist position is possible upon review.
