We are looking for outstanding postdocs, with a strong publication record, interested in applying for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF) with a theory project in the field of phononics and/or thermal transport to join the Theory and Simulation of Materials department of the Institut de Ciència de Materials de Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC).

To apply for a MSCA-PF, the candidate should prepare and submit to the EU a scientific proposal (~15 pages). Selection of the candidates is carried out at the EU level and the results are expected in early 2024. The topic of the proposal is free, but should fit our research activity in heat transport.

In particular, notice:

MOBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Recruited researchers must comply with the following mobility rule: they must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the beneficiary (for European Postdoctoral Fellowships), or the host organisation for the outgoing phase (for Global Postdoctoral Fellowships) for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.

RESEARCHER REQUIREMENTS: The researcher must be in possession of a doctoral degree or have successfully defended their doctoral thesis before the call deadline

 

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE: Maximum 8 years (full-time equivalent) from the date of award of the (first) doctoral degree.
