Applications are invited for the post of Associate Professor (or Professor) of Inorganic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford. We are seeking to appoint a candidate in the field of computational inorganic chemistry. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates whose research complements that of current members of Faculty, and aligns with our "Theory and Modelling in Chemical Sciences" Research Theme (https://www.chem.ox.ac.uk).

This is a joint University and College post. The successful candidate will also be appointed to a Tutorial Fellowship at Lady Margaret Hall, one of the constituent Colleges of the University, under arrangements described in the Job Description and Selection Criteria.

Associate Professor is the main academic career grade at Oxford with a focus on research and teaching, spanning the full range of professor grades in the USA. Applicants at an early stage of their independent academic careers are particularly encouraged to apply.
