Two positions of assistant scientist are available at SUPCON in Hangzhou, China.

 

The applicant will focus on the investigation in the field of theoretical & computational catalysis based on density functional theory calculations:

 

  1. Investigations on theoretical catalysis, including: electronic structures, catalytic reactions, reaction mechanisms, activity evaluation, microkinetic modelling and catalyst design.
  2. The applicant will also focus on the establishment of catalytic database.
  3. Provide theoretical supporting for experiment scientist.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Master or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics or Chemical Engineering.
  2. Experience in DFT studies of heterogeneous catalysis using VASP or other software.
  3. Knowledge of theoretical catalysis and catalyst design.
  4. Knowledge of shell scripting and Python.
  5. Fluency in Chinese and suitable skills in Engilsh.
