The Department of Physics at Binghamton University - State University of New York invites outstanding applicants for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in theoretical physics with a research effort in quantum information theory, hard/soft condensed matter theory, or atomic, molecular, and optical theory. The successful candidate is expected to establish an independent research group and contribute effectively to our physics undergraduate and graduate programs.
A PhD in physics or a related field, and postdoctoral experience are required.
