Job profile:
While the physics department is undergoing a major change in several of its teaching topics and
methods, it intends to hire a lecturer to meet the announced ambitions of the new curriculum in terms of multidisciplinarity, educational innovation and strengthened supervision. More specifically, the establishment of the "quantum engineering" major within the "physics and nanotechnologies" track will require a strong investment and creativity to develop courses related to the aspiration of students and partners in the field of physics. In research, the Structures, Properties and Solid Modeling laboratory is at the frontier between solid state chemistry and physics and is also evolving with the advent of methods for the development and use of materials that are renewed and strongly impacted by the expansion of digital and simulation methods covering multiple scales and becoming clearly predictive.
