*UCD School of Chemistry Ad Astra Fellows (Assistant Professor - Tenure Track)

The UCD School of Chemistry has an open position for an Ad Astra Fellow.

We are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates with a track-record of high-impact research in Computational Chemistry.

This could include electronic structure calculations, atomistic simulations, the use of empirical force fields and quantum mechanical modelling or the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence to address challenges from all areas of chemistry.

The initial contract is for five years with conversion to permanency following a performance review (after 4 years) measuring targets set with the Head of School / College / University at commencement.
