Computational Materials Scientist, Faculty Position - entry level, RTDA ("Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato di tipo A") - for three years, at the Department of Materials Science, University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy), by public selection; only very limited teaching duties required (max. 40 hours per year).

Requirements: phd + min. 2 years of postdoc experience in ab initio structural modeling of semiconductor surfaces/interfaces; calculation of atomic-scale parameters for larger-scale growth simulations.

Specific subject: growth of 3C-SiC on patterned Si substrates, within a recently approved Horizon 2020 project; close collaboration with experimental and industrial groups.

Salary after taxes: around 1800 Euros, 13 times per year. Opening of position: May to July 2017.
