2 PhD and/or postdoc positions in solid state theory are available at the University of Munich, Dept. Chem., in the group of Prof. H. Ebert.
The positions are connected with projects in the field of novel semiconducting
materials (band-gap engineering by alloying, impact of defects, transport
properties) and photoemission spectroscopy (spin- and angle-resolved
spectroscopy of magnetic materials and topological insulators by the one-step
model). In both cases the work will be primarily based on the Munich SPR-KKR
program package and implies a close cooperation with experimental groups.
In case that the position will be occupied by a postdoc, the run time of the
contract will be at least 1 1/2 year. Applicants should send PDF copies of
