The EUSpecLab doctoral network is announcing positions for 11 PhD students at various European
universities starting from 1st of September 2022. The network aims to advance theoretical and
experimental electron spectroscopy methods in condensed matter physics, using machine learning
techniques.

We are looking for 11 high-level master students with a strong background in quantum physics/chemistry and in code development. Prior knowledge in machine learning would be seen favourably.

Applicants should check their eligibility before formally applying: in particular a student may not have spent more than 12 months during the last three years in the country where they are applying. Prior to the formal application, interested students should make themselves known by filling the corresponding form at the EUSpecLab website:

www.euspeclab.cnrs.fr

A preselection will be made before the 1st of September among the applicants who have declared
themselves at the EUSpecLab website.

On behalf of the consortium,

Matthieu Verstraete (University of Liege, Belgium)
