Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the 34th Annual Workshop on Recent Developments in Electronic Structure Methods (ES22), a hybrid workshop with in-person and virtual attendees to be held at Columbia University, May 31st – June 3rd, 2022.
For over 30 years, the Annual Workshop on Recent Developments in Electronic Structure Methods has brought together participants in electronic structure theory from universities, colleges, institutes and laboratories around the world. To continue the tradition of this workshop series, Columbia University is hosting the hybrid ES22 this summer. We hope this will provide an occasion for the community to gather after the last two challenging years, hear about the latest developments, and discuss the future of electronic structure methods.
The planned scientific program will include 26 invited talks, two poster sessions, and a hands-on tutorial on open-source code. The scientific level is appropriate for advanced undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and senior scientists. The meetings will take place at International House, 500 Riverside Drive New York, NY 10027.
Registration for the workshop is required for both in-person and virtual attendees. Please register at the workshop website https://www.apam.columbia.edu/international-workshop-recent-developments-electronic-structure-es22-1 by May 10. The participation for virtual attendees is free. On the registration form, you will be asked to indicate if you would like to present a poster (submission deadline for posters is May 19).
We are looking forward to an exciting workshop, and cordially invite you to join us!
Sincerely,
Renata Wentzcovitch, Tim Berkelbach, Raquel Queiroz, David Reichman, Johannes Flick
