We're pleased to share the latest newsletter from the NOMAD (Novel Materials Discovery) Laboratory (European Centre of Excellence).
In this newsletter, we mark the passing of two influential NOMAD leaders, who will be greatly missed: Alessandro De Vita (King's College London) and Stefan Heinzel (Max Planck Computing and Data Facility).
This edition also gives an update on recent NOMAD activities, including FAIR data in materials science (FAIR Data Infrastructure (FAIRDI e.V., https://fairdi.eu), GO FAIR Implementation Network, MRS Bulletin), recent talks of the NOMAD team at major international events (Global Internet of Things Summit, Platform for Advanced Scientific Computing 2018, Great Minds Forum at the University of Science and Technology China) and more!
